About

Originally from Albuquerque, MarlaRose Gridley moved back to the beautiful state of New Mexico after graduating from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate with honors, to begin her career in civil litigation. She has been admitted to practice in New Mexico since October 2022.

​

While in law school, she studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador, and authored and published her thesis, "The Yasuní ITT Initiative and the Creation of Global Green Sovereignty," in May 2018. She also served as a legal researcher for Professor Antonia Eliason at the University of Mississippi School of Law and as a student attorney with the Mississippi Innocence Project.

She is passionate about representing New Mexico's healthcare providers and facilities, and she strives to provide competent, compassionate, and diligent advocacy. She currently serves as treasurer and a board member of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association and is the New Mexico Young Lawyer Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates (2024-2026 term). She is also a graduate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Trial College and the recipient of the 2024 NMDLA Young Lawyer of the Year Award.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, doing puzzles, and spending time outdoors with Miley.
